DIY Jack Skellington Halloween Ornaments

Happpppy spooky season guys!!

When I decided I was going to make and have a halloween tree I knew that I had have the pumpkin king himself hanging on the tree! I decided to make my own and make them really fun and unique! They came out really well and I wanted to share it with you guys so you can make them for your own spooky tree as well!

Here is what you need:

- 4 glass or plastic ornaments large in size

- Clear elmers glue

- Glitter of your choice

- Black permanent vinyl + transfer tape

- Cricut / cutting machine

Step by Step Tutorial:

1. Set up your workspace and get out all your materials! Start by getting out your ornaments and use a cup (you don't mind getting glue or glitter in) to hold your ornament so it doesn't roll around all over the table while you work on it. I decided to make my own unique glitter by combining several types, sizes, shapes and colors that I liked. If you have one specific glitter that you already like feel free to just use that! You definitely don't have to mix and make your own.

2. Once you have your workspace prepared, ornament in a cup and glitter ready to go, start pouring your elmers glue into your ornament. Once you have a good amount in the bottom pick it up, turn and spin it so it covers the inside of the ornament completely. You don't want to miss any areas or you will have empty spots the glitter wont stick to. Once its all covered let it sit upside down for a few minutes with the hole pointing down inside the cup so all the excess glue pours out.

3. Once the inside of your ornament is covered completely you will basically repeat the same process with the glitter. Pour the glitter into the ornament and then pick it up spinning and turning it so the glitter sticks to all the areas. Once it's covered, turn it upside down again to let excess glue and glitter pour out.

4. After all the excess glue and glitter has come out put the top back on and leave to dry. Head to your cricut and cut out your Jack Skellington faces for the ornaments! I drew these on my Ipad and am including them so you can easily upload them and cut them out, Enjoy :)

5. Once the ornaments are dry, apply your vinyl decals to each ornament and you are done!!

Have fun hanging them up and decking out your halloween tree!

Hope you guys liked this DIY and I hope you have a very spooky and festive October!

xoxo
